WAVE FUND

At the start of each school year, we ask families to donate to our WAVE Fund to bridge the gap between public funding and our school's unique needs. This year we are asking our LCM Dolphin families to donate a minimum $250 per student to our Wave Fund.

Due to recent budget cuts across the state and district, we need your help now more than ever. In addition to our normal responsibilities of supporting teachers, activities, and fun family events, for this 2025-2026 school year, the La Costa Meadows PTO is responsible for covering 100% of the annual salaries for our school's:

- Social Worker

- STEAM Teacher (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art & Math)

- 2 Intervention Aides

- Before/After School Educational Programs

- Staff Development Training

- And so much more!

TOTALING $250,000!!

Therefore, if it’s within your means, we kindly ask for a minimum $250 per student to the Wave Fund this school year. However, no amount is too small. We need all the help we can get to keep these programs running!

Our goal is to raise $85,000 with our Wave Fund this year!

Your PTO donation is tax deductible and 100% of your donation goes directly to support LCM programs. 

Please ask your employer if they provide a corporate match of your donation funds. Many companies provide a match at no additional cost to you and in turn, doubles the funding for the school! The match counts as your tier. 

If you are unable to make a financial donation at this time, there are many other ways to get involved! Please consider donating your time and volunteer at one of our LCM PTO events.

The PTO funds the salary for our wonderful STEAM teacher for the school, which is 100% funded by your donations. This is amazing for our children! They love the hands-on learning, and we are so proud to be able to do this another year.
