SUPER BOWL 5K FUN RUN

Lace up your sneakers and join us for the La Costa Meadows Super Bowl 5K Fun Run on Sunday, February 8th at 9am. This is a relaxed, all-ages event focused on fun, fitness, and school spirit. Whether you walk one lap or run all five, this event is all about participation—not competition (no timing chips or winners). Every participant receives a medal!

Event Details:

1) VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: If you're just there cheering on or have some time before the race, we could really use a few extra hands. Sign up here: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/8050A4FA5A928A6FA7-62062387-superbowl

2) WATER: In an effort to conserve, We will NOT be providing water. Please bring your own water bottle!! It's a 5 lap race so you can leave your water bottle on a table and grab it each time you run by.

3) ATTIRE: Dress in your favorite Sports Team gear (any team, any sport). Prize will be awarded for most spirited participant!! Contest will take place around 8:50 AM before the race.

4) MEDALS: All registered participants receive a medal at the end of the run.

5) CHECK IN: No need to check in when you arrive. Just arrive by 8:30 AM. We plan to start the run around 9 AM.

6) LAST MINUTE REGISTRATIONS: If you didn't register in time but still want to participate, you can pay via Venmo at the entrance but you will not receive a Finisher medal.

7) COURSE MAP: The 5K course is 5 laps. We will have people directing runners for the route. You will get your hand marked each lap so you can keep track.

8) DOGS: Please, no dogs allowed.

And lastly, let's have fun!!! This is meant to be a fun, family-friendly event. Run as much or as little as you want. See you Sunday!!

Join us on campus on the last Friday of every month at 8:45 am for our all-school assembly to learn about the latest happenings at LCM. We’ll also have our coffee cart available with healthy breakfast options and coffee for parents to purchase!

Our Popsicle Fridays are held on 16 Fridays throughout the year (Fall and Spring). Your child's Popsicle Pass will get them a popsicle at each date.

If the Popsicle Pass luggage tag happens to break or get lost before a Popsicle Friday, your child can still get their popsicle! We have a Master List we can check on the day-of. So no worries! Email any questions to info@lacostameadowspto.org.
